Digital Rapids Corp announces that it has chosen Crystal Group, a world class manufacturer of innovative server solutions as its supplier of rackmount, and desktop computing platforms.
The Crystal Group CS200 1U rackmount chassis will be part of the Digital Rapids StreamForge product line and will be available for traditional rackmount server and high density video processing installations. CS200 equipped Digital Rapids StreamForge servers offer the highest quality batch digitizing and encoding available.
The Crystal Group CS300 .87U rackmount chassis will be used for the Digital Rapids StreamZ product line of live video encoding and archiving solutions. The CS300 equipped StreamZ will be targeted towards the desktop environment and where installation space is a challenge. The CS300 chassis with its unique .87U form factor will allow rack mount installations with up to 100 unique video inputs and over 200 unique streaming media outputs per standard 42U rack.
